12/6 Results For New Japan World Tag League 2020 From Fukuoka, Japan:


Yuya Uemura vs. Robbie Eagles. Eagles gets the submission win with the Ron Miller Special.


Robbie Eagles finishes with 8 points.


Yuya Uemura finishes with zero points.


Yujiro Takahashi and EVIL, with Dick Togo vs. Chase Owens and Bad Luck Fale. All Bullet Club members do the “Too Sweet” salute. Takahashi took the mic and told Owens that Pieter was coming to the ring. Owens got excited and Takahashi snuck behind him and rolled him up for a two count. Owens got mad that Takahashi lied to him then all the Bullet Club tricks came out and chaos ensued. Owens rolled up Takahashi for a pin with his foot on the ropes for leverage. Funny stuff from Bullet Club. Not really a match but entertaining for what it was.


Owens/Fale finish with 6 points.


EVIL/Takahashi finish with 6 points.


Ryusuke Taguchi vs. DOUKI. Taguchi pins DOUKI with a Dodon. Good match.


Ryusuke Taguchi finishes with 8 points.


DOUKI finishes with 4 points.


Toa Henare and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Tanga Loa and Tama Tonga, with Jado. Henare and Tanahashi come to ringside and Guerrillas of Destiny attack them from behind. Chaos around ringside. Tanga Loa smashes Tanahashi in the knee with Jodi’s kendo stick. Tama Tonga applies a scorpion death lock. Tanahashi taps out! There is an audible gasp from the audience. G.O.D. steamrolled Henare and Tanahashi and take the lead in World Tag League.


Tama Tonga / Tanga Loa finishes with 12 points.


Henare / Tanahashi finish with 2 points.


Master Wato, with Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Hiromu Takahashi. Takahashi hits Time Bomb II on Wato and gets a pinfall win. Great match! Perhaps Wato’s best performance despite the loss.


Hiromu Takahashi finishes with 14 points.


Master Wato finishes with 8 points.


Ring cleaning intermission.


SANADA and Shingo Takagi vs. Jeff Cobb vs. Great O-Khan. Cobb pins Takagi with a Tour of the Islands. Awesome match. The Empire looked like beasts. Cobb grabbed Takagi’s NEVER Openweight Championship and posed with it. He screamed in his face that he wants a shot at the belt.


The Empire finish with 10 points.


Los Ingobernales de Japon finish with 10 points.


SHO vs. Taiji Ishimori. Ishimori pins SHO with Bloody Cross. Awesome match! If you only have time to watch one match, this is it. Both men packed so much into this 12 minute match. SHO was very close to hitting his finisher, but Ishimori proved why he is the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion.


Taiji Ishimori finishes with 14 points.


SHO finishes with 12 points.


Toru Yano and Tomohiro Ishii vs. Zack Sabre Jr. and Taichi. Taichi pins Ishii after a Zack Mephisto. Wow, another Awesome match! Both teams were moving so fast. I don’t think there were any tags in this match. Dangerous Tekkers are machine right now heading towards the World Tag League Finals and Wrestle Kingdom.


BUSHI vs. El Desperado. Desperado forces BUSHI to submit to Numero Dos. Make it 3 awesome matches in a row.


El Desperado finishes with 14 points.


BUSHI finishes with 8 points.


They announce El Desperado will meet Hiromu Takahashi in the Finals. Takahashi makes his way to the ring to face Desperado. Takahashi tells Desperado let’s show the world what we can do at the Budokan.


David Finlay and Juice Robinson vs. YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto. Juice pins Goto after Pulp Friction. Four awesome matches in a row. CHAOS hit every finisher on FinJuice but they could not get the pins they needed. With this win and the tie breakers, FinJuice heads to the Finals to face Guerrillas of Destiny. FinJuice have a chance to win back-to-back World Tag League Titles.

Goto / YOSHI-HASHI finishes with 10 points.


Juice takes the mic to address the crowd. He is hit with a Gun Stun by Tama Tonga. Tanga Loa beats down Finlay. Tama applies the scorpion death lock on Juice. Tanga locks Finlay in the Operation Jado Killer (crippler cross face). Jado takes the mic and tells FinJuice: this tournament is not about you. It is about G.O.D. and the Master Heater.
