Shaq challenged Cody during the AEW Awards earlier and now Tony Schiavone introduces Cody for a response.

Cody rather gives him the pitch: March 7, his beautiful bride Brandi Rhodes against Jade & Shaq. He can’t say that. Brandi’s having a baby. In these moments when he’s distracted, he defers to the coach, Arn Anderson. Arn chewed his ass out for taking Peter Avalon too lightly last week. He hands the mic to The Enforcer. Arn notes Cody is about to be a dad. It’s the most important thing of his life. June 29, 1985. He saw his dad crawl in the ring in a match with Tully Blanchard, hop on a private plane and fly to see the birth of his baby boy Cody Rhodes. If he chooses March 7 to jump in the ring, he should do it with all eyes open. This is a once in a lifetime match. For 19 years Shaq dominated his sport. Jade, he’s pretty sure every time she walks in the room, she dominates the entire area. The fact of the matter is this: it’s something that can’t be measured. He wants him to see something while he ponders his future. Arn invites Red Velvet to the ring. See what he’s talking about? Fire, she’s got it. You got it. Red Velvet is tired of getting attacked and is tired of that big mouth running her mouth. She knows Cody would never lay a hand on Jade, but she’s more than willing to stir her bitch ass up.

He dives on top of him. He sends Nemeth back into the ring. He goes to lariat him in the corner, but Nemeth avoids and dropkicks him. Matt Hardy shows up at ringside to scout. Nemeth works on the back of Hangman.

Back to their feet, Nemeth hits a Rude Awakening and it appears Hardy is cheering on Hangman as he hits some powerful clotheslines before a Farooq-like spinebuster. Big clotheslines and then Hangman hits a sliding lariat for another two count. Nemeth elbows himself free and hits a high elevated DDT. Two count. Adam avoids a German by landing on hist feet and hits a discus. Lariats him down. He hits a Buckshot Lariat and that’s all she wrote.

WINNER: “Hangman” Adam Page

Matt Hardy claps for Adam afterwards. Schiavone heads to the ring and asks Hangman and Hardy whats going on. The reason Hardy came out here tonight and to let him know he supports him. To Matt, he sees lost and conflicted. He understands the love he had for The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. Now the Dark Order asked him to join and it becomes more conflicting. He’s a good person and he needs to be happy. He sees Hangman is dressing in the hallway and Hardy invites him to dress in his dressing room.

Full nelson by Dax. JB hits a backstabber and JB does several Germans, but a hot frees Dax up. JB hits a clothesline son Dax. Dax fakes a punch and DDTs JB. Very close fall.
