The “Winter is Coming” special featured four AEW Continental Classic matches. Plus, Hangman Page faced Roderick Strong, and Riho took on Ruby Soho. Elsewhere on the show, The Von Erichs appeared, and fans heard from Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega.
In-Ring Segment: Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe opens the show and says he is looking for answers. He recalls MJF getting attacked last week. Joe says that he saw a beer bottle in the aftermath of MJF’s attack, and a certain “Hangman” was missing. Hangman Page comes down and says he doesn’t care about MJF or The Devil. Joe implies that he may have made up his mind about Page’s guilt. Roderick Strong interrupts and says Joe is lucky The Devil’s attackers didn’t hurt him. Strong recaps the mysterious attacks that have been happening and says MJF is The Devil.
Page drops Strong with a punch, and he leaves the ring. Joe exits as well, as it’s time for the opening match. Strong attacks Page from behind to start the bout.
Hangman Page vs. Roderick Strong (with Mike Bennett and Matt Taven)
Strong takes the early advantage. Page rallies. Strong fires up and grounds Page. Hangman drops Strong with a boot to the face. Strong gains the upper hand and drives his knee into Page’s mid-section. Page sends Strong to the outside with a springboard lariat and dives onto him at ringside. Mike Bennett and Matt Taven interfere, and Strong slams Page onto the turnbuckles.
Strong continues to control the action. He drops Page with a gut-buster. Page rallies again and trades blows with Strong. Hangman unloads on Strong with a series of strikes. He hits a Death Valley Driver for a two-count. Page bites Strong in the corner. Strong dodges a moonsault, but Hangman floors him with a powerbomb for a two-count. Strong rocks Page with a kick and hits an Olympic Slam for a two-count. He drops Page with a powerbomb. Strong locks in a double-legged Boston crab, but Page reaches the ropes. Taven tries to interfere, but Page fights him off. Page takes out Bennett with a dive.
Page drops Strong with a Dead-Eye for the win.

Andrade El Idolo faces Brody King on AEW Dynamite
AEW Continental Classic Blue League Match: Andrade El Idolo vs. Brody King
Andrade and King lock up and feel each other out. They battle for positioning. King drops Andrade and crushes him with a senton. They trade stiff chops. Andrade escapes a sleeper and hits a diving crossbody. A moonsault to the outside gives Andrade even more momentum. King blasts Andrade with a chop and sends him to the outside. King hits a crossbody into the guardrail. He maintains the advantage and overpowers Andrade as he keeps him grounded.
They exchange blows. Andrade dropkicks King’s leg and takes him down with a dragon screw. Both men are down after an elbow strike from Andrade.
Andrade slams King and gets a two-count with a moonsault press. King dodges double knees in the corner and levels Andrade with a lariat. King hits a cannonball senton in the corner. They trade stiff shots. Andrade blasts King with a back elbow. Andrade slams King head-first into an exposed turnbuckle and hits the Hammerlock DDT for the win.
Winner: Andrade El Idolo
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Von Erichs. Orange Cassidy and Danhausen, along with Trent Beretta, approach them. Cassidy asks the Von Erichs to team up with him on Rampage, and they accept.
In-Ring Segment: The Golden Jets (Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho)
Omega jokes that he didn’t know the lyrics to “Judas”. Jericho addresses their absence and blames Ricky Starks and Big Bill. Jericho says they basically dislocated his elbow and took him out for three weeks. He calls out the AEW World Tag Team Champions, and they come out. Starks says he has no problem with Kenny and thanks him for AEW. He says Jericho sucks the life out of everything. Starks wonders if Omega can trust Jericho and points out what Jericho has done to the JAS and the Inner Circle.
Bill notes that nobody would be surprised if Jericho turned on Omega. Omega brings up The Firm and says it was more like The Flaccid.
He says they earned a shot at the titles, and he names AEW Worlds End as the place for the match. Starks accepts and notes that he has beaten Jericho twice. Jericho tries to come up with a funny name for Starks and Bill. Starks makes fun of Jericho’s outfit. Jericho says that Starks is a less charismatic version of Enzo Amore. Starks says he is sick of Jericho and Omega. He tells them to bring the war at AEW Worlds End.

Riho vs. Ruby Soho
AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm joins the commentary team for the match. Soho gains momentum early on. Riho rolls through and stomps Soho sending her to the outside. Soho drops Riho and takes control. She grounds Riho. Riho rallies and hits a Tiger Feint Kick. She keeps rolling with a diving crossbody. They trade pin attempts. Soho drills Riho with a kick and plants her with a Saito suplex. Riho hits a Crucifix Bomb for a two-count.
Soho hits the No Future for a two-count. Riho gets a two-count with a Northern Lights suplex. She hits a Meteora for the win.
Winner: Ruby Soho
In a video package, Wardlow says he has been preparing for war, and he has destroyed everyone in his way. He vows to bring The Devil to his knees. Wardlow tells MJF his world is coming to end.
AEW Continental Classic Continues
AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match: Jay Lethal vs. RUSH
RUSH and Lethal trade counters early on. They exchange chops. Lethal catches RUSH with a dropkick. RUSH blasts Lethal with a stiff strike. He controls the action. RUSH suplexes Lethal into the corner. Lethal catches RUSH with a kick. RUSH traps Lethal in a sleeper and makes him tap out.
Winner: RUSH
RUSH keeps the sleeper locked in after the bell. Lethal walks to the back, and he is clearly frustrated.
AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match: Jay White vs. Mark Briscoe
Mark takes the fight to White with a flurry of offense. He hits the Froggy Bow. White dumps Briscoe to the outside, and he lands hard on the outside. White takes control and goes for the Blade Runner. Briscoe dodges it. White drop-kicks Briscoe’s leg. He keeps Briscoe grounded. Briscoe rallies and dumps White over his back. Briscoe levels White with a lariat. He fires up with some strikes. Mark knocks White to the outside with a big boot. He hits an elbow drop to the outside. Briscoe slams White and gets a two-count.
White takes Briscoe down with a Dragon Screw. He dumps Briscoe with a sleeper suplex. White scores the win with the Blade Runner.

AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match: Swerve Strickland vs. Jon Moxley
Moxley and Strickland battle for positioning early on. He mockingly gives Strickland a “smooch”, and Swerve gives him one back. Moxley drives Swerve into the corner with some chops and strikes. Strickland drops Moxley with a DDT. They head to the outside, and Moxley rallies. Moxley goes to stomp Swerve, but Strickland sends him to the outside. Moxley traps Swerve between the ring apron and slams him shoulder-first into the steel steps.
Back in the ring, Moxley controls the action. Moxley and Swerve keep battling. He spikes Strickland with a Gotch-style piledriver for a two-count. Swerve catches Moxley with a Flatliner and a suplex. He drills Moxley with a boot to the face. Strickland stomps Moxley and hits some hammer-and-elbow blows. He nails the House Call. Moxley shoves Swerve off the top rope, sending him crashing to the floor. Moxley stomps Swerve for a two-count. He grounds Swerve and hammers away at him. Strickland rocks Moxley with a kick and hits the Swerve Stomp. He hits another Swerve Stomp for a near-fall. Mooxley rolls Strickland up and pulls on his belt for extra leverage for the win.
Winner: Jon Moxley
The camera pans to the parking lot, where The Devil’s goons attack Hangman Page. The Devil is in a car, and he nods to his henchmen. The group slams Hangman onto a car.
