All Elite Wrestling is reportedly heading out west for their next AEW Full Gear pay-per-view.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that Los Angeles will host Full Gear 2023. Per sources, the event, which is typically held in November, is currently slated for The Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Sapp wrote that Saturday, November 18 is the date listed on internal calendars. This would lead to some type of adjustment for AEW Collision, which airs on Saturdays.
The report also notes that the pay-per-view had been discussed for Sunday, November 19. This date caught some people by surprise, as the Jacksonville Jaguars have a home game that day. AEW CEO Tony Khan is the Chief Football Strategy Officer for the Jaguars, and AEW typically avoids scheduling pay-per-views on Sundays in the fall.
Sapp stated that all of this can change, but The Form is currently the working plan.
Since the inaugural show in 2019, AEW Full Gear has been held in Baltimore, Jacksonville, Minneapolis, and Newark.
AEW’s calendar is packed in the next several weeks, as the company will hold All In at Wembley Stadium on August 27. Just seven days later, AEW will present AEW All Out from Chicago.
Indy Pro Wrestling will provide more information as it becomes available.
