Brian Myers has signed with Impact Wrestling.
Myers confirmed this afternoon on Twitter that he has signed with the promotion.
“Thanks for the money Eddie,” Myers wrote, referring to Anthem Wrestling president Ed Nordholm. “You just made the best decision of your life. You now have a workhorse in the prime of his career with a massive chip on his shoulder signed to your roster. The Most Professional Wrestler. @IMPACTWRESTLING is now mine. #IMPACTonAXSTV.”
Myers has made appearances for the promotion since July. In August, he challenged then Impact World champion Eddie Edwards in a losing effort on Impact. Back at Turning Point this past November, he defeated Swoggle.
After re-signing with WWE in 2016, Myers (known as Curt Hawkins) had most recently appeared on the Raw brand, teaming with Zack Ryder (Matt Cardona). Both were released in April of last year, with the company citing the COVID-19 pandemic as reason for the cuts.
