New Japan Pro Wrestling continued their 30th annual G1 Climax on Sunday. A Block’s third night of competition saw “King Switchblade” Jay White & “The Holy Emperor” Taichi take the top spots in the block, both men undefeated so far in round robin competition.
Elsewhere on the card, Gabriel Kidd defeated Yota Tsuji in a blistering contest. “The King” Minoru Suzuki outpaced Jeff Cobb in a 10-minute sprint to beat the big Olympian. Kota Ibushi also got two more points after going for blow for blow, punch for punch, and kick for kick with Tomohiro Ishii.
“The Dragon” Shingo Takagi got his first points of the tournament, defeating Will Ospreay in a rematch from last year’s Best of Super Juniors finals.
