Gallows & Anderson Sign A Deal With NJPW

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have locked up their international deals around the same time that they inked their United States deals as well.

Earlier this week, it was reported by multiple outlets that Gallows and Anderson are heading to Impact Wrestling in a deal that will allow them to also work for New Japan Pro Wrestling.

At the time, Dave Meltzer was able to confirm they are expected to work for NJPW once they’re free to travel to Japan, but no deal had been agreed upon. Gallows and Anderson came to terms with Impact after the promotion made them a surprisingly strong money offer and “they are virtually certain to accept it.”

In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer wrote, “In fact, they’ve already cut the New Japan deal with Gedo and Nobuyuki Sugabayashi, although it likely doesn’t go into effect until New Japan’s hiring freeze ends.”

Thus, the former WWE stars are under the impression from Impact that they can work for both promotions starting later this month. The reason for that is due to them having to wait out their non-compete clause deals with WWE, which expires on July 15th.

Impact has already teased them coming in, but there’s still no word yet on when they’ll make their promotional debuts although speculation is that it would make sense for them to appear at Slammiversary.
