Mustafa Ali is back in TNA Wrestling and says he has signed with the company.

Ali returned to TNA on Thursday’s live Impact, interrupting a Mike Santana promo to reveal that he has signed a new contract.

In 2024, Ali wrestled 20 matches for TNA, including winning the X-Division Championship from Chris Sabin in his debut at No Surrender last February. Ali eventually dropped the X title to Mike Bailey at Slammiversary last July, then finished up on the next night’s TV tapings. His last TNA bout aired on the August 1, 2024 Impact in an unsuccessful World title challenge against Nic Nemeth.

In his return segment on Thursday’s Impact, Ali continued to use the politician persona that he has employed since departing WWE in 2023.

Thursday’s Impact also included a new Digital Media Champion in Steph De Lander, who debuted her new boyfriend Mance Warner in the big reveal of who was behind the 23 vignettes airing on recent Impact episodes.
