Former-IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows have returned to Japan for the first time since 2016. Attacking newly crowned NEVER Openweight Champion Tama Tonga, The Good Brothers ended their five-year sabbatical to send a message to the NJPW locker room and fan base, dropping Tonga with a Magic Killer.
Anderson & Gallows have been exchanging words on social media and in-person with Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa. They even came face to face at NJPW Resurgence in Los Angeles, though The Good Brothers escaped before it could come to blows. The rivalry culminated in a tag match at IMPACT Rebellion back in February, which led to Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa being exiled from Bullet Club, as Anderson & Gallows were welcomed back into the fold.
Now Anderson & Gallows are back in Japan, and Anderson seems to have his eyes set on Tama Tonga’s NEVER Openweight Championship.
Now the only thing that remains a mystery is if The Good Brothers will stay with IMPACT Wrestling as their contracts are set to expire on June 17th. The Good Brothers will have no problem finding work elsewhere as they will either go to AEW or NJPW.
