TNA Wrestling Under Siege Results (05/03/2024)


TNA delivered an action-packed show with TNA Under Siege on May 3.


Among other matches, “Broken Matt Hardy” and Speedball Mountain faced The System (Moose, Eddie Edwards, and Brian Myers). Plus, Mustafa Ali defended the TNA X-Division Championship against Ace Austin. Elsewhere on the show, Josh Alexander and Eric Young faced Steve Maclin and Frankie Kazarian.


Countdown to Under Siege


Rhino vs. VSK


VSK flexes at Rhino, who hypes up the crowd. Rhino overpowers VSK. VSK briefly gains the upper hand. Rhino sends him to the outside with an Irish whip. VSK slams him face-first onto the apron, but Rhino suplexes him onto the apron. Rhino rallies with a flurry of offense. He hits the Gore for the win.


Winner: Rhino


The broadcast team announces some changes to the card, as Hammerstone is not cleared to compete.


In an interview, Ace Austin hypes up his match against Mustafa Ali and notes that he and Chris Bey are both talented enough to chase singles gold. He expressed his confidence that he will regain the X-Division Championship.


The F.B.I. (Zack Clayton & Ray Jaz) (with Guido) vs. The Batiri

Clayton gains the upper hand right away. He drops both of his opponents with a double shoulder block and tosses Kodama across the ring. Clayton keeps rolling with a big boot. Jaz tags in and hits the Sicilian Slice. He suplexes Kodama. Kodama rallies. Obariyon tags in, and The Batiri double-teams Jaz. Clayton tags in and clears house.

He slams Obariyon. Clayton drops Kodama with a neckbreaker. Jaz hits a diving elbow drop for the win.

Frankie Kazarian gets upset with Steve Maclin for being late. They agree to handle business tonight.


TNA Digital Media Championship: Laredo Kid (c) vs. KC Navarro

Kid and Navarro feel each other out with fast-paced offense. Kid drops Navarro with a slam and sends him to the outside. He hits a springboard moonsault. Kid maintains the advantage, but Navarro keeps fighting. He catches the champion with a dropkick.


Navarro gains the upper hand. Kid rallies. Navarro dodges a moonsault and drills Kid with a superkick. He spikes Kid with a DDT for a two-count. Kid slams Navarro off the top rope with a Laredo Fly for the win.

Main Card


Josh Alexander & Eric Young vs. Steve Maclin & Frankie Kazarian

Young puts on some headgear to match Alexander. He takes the fight to Kazarian, who immediately tags out. Young briefly squares off with Maclin, and Alexander tags in. Alexander takes control. Kazarian tags in, and Alexander hits a running senton and he maintains the advantage. Maclin trips up Alexander, and Kazarian gains the upper hand as he grounds the champion. Kazarian and Maclin double-team Alexander and isolate him.

Kazarian suplexes Alexander and keeps him grounded. Alexander tries to rally, but Maclin squashes the attempt. Kazarian and Maclin continue to control the action. Young jumps off the apron to chase Kazarian at ringside. Maclin clotheslines Young, so Alexander has no one to tag. Alexander fires up with a belly-to-belly off the top. Maclin and Young tag in, and EY gains momentum with a flurry of offense. Kazarian distracts Young, and Maclin clubs him from behind. Alexander suplexes Maclin. Kazarian hits a slingshot DDT.


Young drops Kazarian with a neckbreaker. Maclin trips him up when he goes up top. Maclin hits a running Spear in the corner. Alexander slams Maclin with a powerbomb. Maclin dumps Alexander with an Olympic slam. Young and Kazarian go back and forth. Maclin clotheslines Alexander over the ropes. Maclin accidentally rocks Kazarian with a knee. Alexander takes Maclin out.


Young drops Kazarian with a piledriver for the win.

Ash By Elegance (with Personal Concierge) vs. Havok (with Rosemary)

Havok gains the upper hand, and Ash heads to the outside to regroup. Ash gets back in the ring, and Havok controls the action. She overpowers Ash and drops her with a backbreaker. Ash rolls to the outside again. Rosemary distracts Ash. Ash gets back in the ring, and she kicks Havok’s leg. Havok counters a slap and rocks her with a headbutt. Havok tosses Ash with a suplex. She goes for a Death Valley Driver. The Personal Concierge throws holy water at it.


Ash capitalizes and slams Havok off the ropes. The Concierge throws holy water at Rosemary. Rosemary drinks it and chases the Concierge to the back. Ash reverses a suplex into a pin for the win.


Winner: Ash By Elegance


Ash chokes Havok with some garlic and attacks her after the match. She hits Havok with a chair and keeps attacking her. Ash hits a senton onto a chair that she put on top of Havok. Ash slams Havok face-first onto the ramp.


In an interview, “Broken” Matt Hardy and Speedball Moutain look ahead to the main event match. Mike Bailey says he feels a bit “broken.” Trent Seven encourages him to pull himself together. Hardy says TNA is with TNA, and he is with his family in Speedball Mountain. He gives them “coats of arms”. Bailey says it’s time for Under Siege. Seven says it’s time to delete The System.


Joe Hendry vs. Zachary Wentz

Wentz takes the fight to Hendry. Hendry goes for the Standing Ovation but Went counters and sends him to the outside. Back in the ring, Wentz takes control and drills Hendry with a kick. He grounds Hendry. He rocks him with some more kicks. Hendry catches a dive by Wentz and gets him back in the ring.


Wentz gains the upper hand again, but Henry gets the win with the Standing Ovation.


Winner: Joe Hendry


TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship: Spitfire (Dani Luna and Jody Threat) (with Lars Frederiksen) vs. Masha Slamovich & Alisha Edwards

Slamovich and Luna start the bout and feel each other out. Threat tags in, and the champions double-team Slamovich. Slamovich gains the upper hand. Edwards tags in and talks some trash. Luna hits her, and Edwards tags out. Slamovich takes control. Masha and Edwards double-team Threat. Threat rallies. Slamovich breaks up a pin attempt and knocks Luna off the apron. Threat and Luna double-team Slamovich. Edwards goes to hit Luna with a kendo stick, but she counters. The match breaks down in chaos, and Edwards hits Threat with a kendo stick. Slamovich slams Threat for the win.

Slamovich and Edwards celebrate with Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards after the bell.


In a promo, AJ Francis and Rich Swann discuss Swann’s match tonight, noting that he was supposed to face Laredo Kid tonight.


Rich Swann (with AJ Francis) vs. Jake Something

Swann and Something square off. Jake gains the upper hand. Francis distracts Something. Swann sneaks in and kicks Something in the back. Francis trucks over Something at ringside. Swann controls the action and grounds Something. Something tries to rally, but Swann rakes him in the eyes.


Francis hits Something when the referee isn’t looking. Swann rakes Something’s eye again and drills him with a kick. Something fires up and levels Swann with a lariat. He hits a torture wrack slam. Swann blasts Something with a kick. Francis attacks Something again. Deaner comes out and urges the referee not to throw out the match, and he can “chop down that Dollar Tree” instead. He brawls with Francis. Francis slams him onto the apron. Something dives onto Francis. Swann follows suit by diving onto Something. He hits a back-handspring cutter and a frog splash for the win.


Winner: Rich Swann


Jonathan Gresham vs. KUSHIDA

KUSHIDA and Gresham go back and forth. Gresham showcases his technical expertise. They’re evenly matched early on. The two competitors trade blows. Gresham bites KUSHIDA’s hand. Gresham wrenches KUSHIDA in a submission hold. KUSHIDA rallies. Gresham evades the Hoverboard lock. KUSHIDA gets a two-count with a flurry of offense. Both men are down after a fast-paced exchange.


They trade strikes again. Gresham rubs black stuff on KUSHIDA’s face. He spits more out of his mouth and chokes KUSHIDA with it. He holds KUSHIDA down and pins him.


Winner: Jonathan Gresham


The referee checks on KUSHIDA, and he’s choking on the ink. The referee waves for help, as officials check on KUSHIDA.


Kon & Steph De Lander vs. PCO & Jordynne Grace

Grace tags in and squares off with Kon. Kon goes for a slam, but Grace counters. Grace drills Kon with some strikes. De Lander tags in and gains the upper hand as she slams Grace. PCO tags in and trades blows with Kon. They duke it out. PCO hits the PCO-sault, but De Lander breaks up the pin. Kon knocks PCO to the outside. Back in the ring, Kon grounds PCO. PCO rallies, and both men are down. PCO fires up and tags Grace. Grace clears house with a flurry of offense.


Grace hits the Juggernaut Jackhammer for a two-count. De Lander slams Grace into the corner. PCO goes for a chokeslam on De Lander, and she flirts with him. She dances with him and dips, and PCO goes for a kiss. Kon breaks it up and chokeslams PCO. Grace hits Kon below the belt and slams him. PCO dives onto Kon at ringside. Grace dumps De Lander with a powerbomb, a backfist, and the Juggernaut Driver for the win.


Winners: Jordynne Grace & PCO


TNA X-Division Championship: Mustafa Ali (c) vs. Ace Austin

Ali and Austin battle back and forth. They’re evenly matched early on as they trade counters. Austin dives onto Ali at ringside. Ali gets Austin back into the ring but sends him to the outside and dives onto him. The champion hits a tornado DDT at ringside. Ali hits a neckbreaker as he continues to control the action. Austin drops him with a clothesline and drives his face into the canvas.


Austin goes for a slam, but he drops Ali as his neck is bothering him. Ali sends Austin crashing into the ring post. Ali wrenches Austin’s neck with an STF against the turnbuckle. Austin rallies as he fights out of a wrist-lock. He floors Ali with a slam and targets Ali’s arm. Ali dumps Austin with a German suplex onto the floor. Austin tosses Ali into the turnbuckles with a belly-to-belly. Ali and Austin trade blows. Austin drills Ali with a kick.


They keep battling. Ali’s secret service agents try to interfere. Austin fights them off and hits The Fold, but one of the agents pulls Ali out of the ring. Austin attacks the agent at ringside. Ali goes to hit Austin with the title, but the referee stops him. Ali kicks Austin off the top, and he falls onto the title belt. Ali hits the 450 for the win.

“Broken” Matt Hardy & Speedball Mountain (“Ball of Speed” Mike Bailey & “Trent Seventh” Trent Seven) vs. The System (Moose, Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards) (with Alisha Edwards)

Hardy and Myers start the bout, and Hardy says he wants Moose. Moose tags in but quickly tags out. Edwards drives Hardy into the corner, but Hardy bites him. Bailey and Seventh double-team Edwards. Edwards gains the upper hand and tags Bailey. Hardy and his partners hit Myers with some tandem offense.


Bailey and Seventh take control. Moose overpowers Bailey. Edwards tags in and maintains the advantage. He and Myers double-team Bailey. Moose and Myers continue to control the action. Alisha chokes him on the ropes. Bailey fires up, but Moose slams him. Bailey suplexes Edwards, but Eddie drives him into the corner. Seventh tags in and clears house with a flurry of offense. The System gains the upper hand again.


Seventh rallies and sends Myers to the outside. Myers and Edwards pull Bailey and Hardy off the apron. Seventh perseveres and tags Hardy. Hardy clears house and unloads on The System. Hardy hits Edwards with a Side Effect. Moose tags in, and Hardy gets in his face. They trade punches. Moose drops him with a big boot. Hardy catches a diving Moose with a cutter.


Edwards breaks up a Twist of Fate attempt. Hardy tags Bailey, who hits Myers with a dropkick. Myers catches Bailey with a Spear. Hardy and his partners rally and hit stereo Twist of Fates. Seventh and Bailey dive onto Myers and Edwards. Moose gains the upper hand and powerbombs Bailey. He slams Seventh onto the apron. Hardy bites Moose’s fingers and hits a Twist of Fate on the floor. Hardy puts Moose through a table with a diving leg drop. Back in the ring, Bailey and Seventh double-team Edwards. Seventh hits Edwards with a Burning Hammer, but Alisha breaks it up. Eddie hits Seventh below the belt, and Eddie and Myers double-team Seventh for the win.


Winners: The System (Moose, Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards) (with Alisha Edwards)


The System stands tall as the show comes to a close.
